About Louisa Bracq: "We are a family owned business, serving the lingerie industry for more than 6 generations. We started as an embroidery workshop designing and making embroideries for the fashion industry and even the clergy. Later the leading lingerie makers discovered our creativity, passion and quality and we became one of the leading “brodeurs” (embroidery producers) in the North of France. Ten years ago, we decided to create our own Lingerie brand, which we named Louisa Bracq, in honor of our great grandmother. We were determined to merge our embroidery skills with all that we had learned from the best in the lingerie industry. Today, we combine our family heritage and commitment to create the finest lingerie in the best French tradition. We source our fabrics and accessories mainly in France and in Europe, thus combining quality with our dedication to care for our environment and our belief that lingerie should be inclusive. Our embroidery workshop is still in Fontaine au Pire, a little village in the north of France, that is also where we have our sample room and it’s the place where we design the Louisa Bracq collection. As a family enterprise we listen to and understand the needs and expectations of independent lingerie retailers. We do not sell direct to consumer on our own website as we are focused on driving business to our independent retail partners."
